Am I being honest, Kemi?
You belong to a man who has been good to me

My head rumbles for reasons we are betraying our benefactor

you're all I think about even though it's not right
Ó ti di àṣà láti yọ́ jáde lọ́gọ̀njọ́
Ní gbogbo àfẹ̀mọ́júmọ́, I am sad as you're off to your matrimonial home
But I am happy because if beauty were time, you would be eternity!

What exactly do you do when you can’t meet up with deadlines? The excuses you come up with to avoid feeling like an inconsistent human. All the side projects you come up with so you don’t have to think about that missed opportunity to actually get something done   I’ll tell you what I do; I forget about it. Sounds crazy but it’s true. I push the problem so far back in my mind that it becomes just a little blip on my mental radar. If I’m feeling especially creative I create problems, blow them out of proportion and then feel safe that I didn’t “fail” but rather became “busy” (What can I say? Many times I find myself asking the same question; why does Monday exist? for whose pleasure?  It's hard to believe that when Emperor Constantine and the Romans decided that Monday, a day named after the moon would begin the week, they imagined it would also come with feelings of dread and drained energy. These issues that Monday bring can be either be external (someone annoys you) or internal (you woke up feeling exhausted). On some occasions, you find any reason you can link to the feeling of distaste and rage that is welling up in you. I'm no psychiatrist but I'll call this " The Monday rage". It's a phase of constant fluctuation between anger and frustration that will no doubt affect those around you negatively.
