It gets boring after a while, I'll admit 
It's so easy to me that I don't put effort 
I don't even have to make this rhyme 
It all comes together like an afterthought 

 After I wrote the 15th poem of the day, I felt strained 
It was too easy and it felt unfair 
Where was the challenge they promised me? 
Little wonder I push away the confidence and look for fear 

 Beethoven must have been bored with his gift 
Michelangelo must have looked for something special 
But they kept doing it despite its ease 
So I'll press on with a task so menial

What exactly do you do when you can’t meet up with deadlines? The excuses you come up with to avoid feeling like an inconsistent human. All the side projects you come up with so you don’t have to think about that missed opportunity to actually get something done   I’ll tell you what I do; I forget about it. Sounds crazy but it’s true. I push the problem so far back in my mind that it becomes just a little blip on my mental radar. If I’m feeling especially creative I create problems, blow them out of proportion and then feel safe that I didn’t “fail” but rather became “busy” (What can I say? The human mind will think up anything to avoid blame)   For those like me who adopt a similar coping strategy, you’ve also been hit with this same feeling; Wake up in the morning, think of the work you have to do, scream and laugh a little in your mind and then get back under the covers cause there are movies to be watched. Many times I find myself asking the same question; why does Monday exist? for whose pleasure?  It's hard to believe that when Emperor Constantine and the Romans decided that Monday, a day named after the moon would begin the week, they imagined it would also come with feelings of dread and drained energy. These issues that Monday bring can be either be external (someone annoys you) or internal (you woke up feeling exhausted). On some occasions, you find any reason you can link to the feeling of distaste and rage that is welling up in you. I'm no psychiatrist but I'll call this " The Monday rage". It's a phase of constant fluctuation between anger and frustration that will no doubt affect those around you negatively. There are a couple of ways to deal with this feeling and get peace of mind; 1. Brace Yourself - Never go into Monday with an oblivious attitude.
